The Mind Wharf was created from a deep, personal connection to mental health. Four years ago, Melissa Loh reawakened a childhood dream to help others through psychology and coaching. This dream became a journey of discovery, one fuelled by her desire to address the often-overlooked struggles of mental health. What began as a pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement quickly transformed into a mission to empower individuals and reduce psychological distress.
Melissa’s professional journey spanned several fields, each enriching her ability to connect with and understand people from all walks of life. Her experiences across industries from teaching to technical sales & marketing to real estate sales, taught her the value of human connection, understanding, and compassion. This varied background laid the foundation for The Mind Wharf, where mental health awareness, social-emotional learning, psychosocial education, coaching, and training come together to inspire transformation, self-growth, and development.
At The Mind Wharf, Melissa focuses on mental, emotional, and behavioral health, recognizing the intricate connections between our thoughts, feelings, and actions that profoundly impact our lives and the lives of those around us, influencing relationships, well-being, and overall quality of life. She helps individuals discover self-awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, cultivate emotional regulation, develop healthy coping mechanisms, build resilience, and nurture positive relationships.

Our founder is a dedicated Mental Health Advocate and aspiring Psychologist. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Psychology. As an ICF Certified Professional Coach and registered Instructor with the Ministry of Education Singapore (MOE), she has undergone specialized training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). With expertise spanning multiple disciplines, she excels as a Psychosocial Educational Coach and Trainer, Cognitive Behavioral Coach, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Coach and Trainer, and Core Energy Leadership and Mindset Coach.
Committed to staying updated with best practices and global standards, our founder is a proud member of several esteemed professional organizations.
